External Marketing Systems
External Marketing Standards: 1. Each facility shall have an established and approved quarterly Marketing Action Plan, including update of competitive and SWOT profile. 2. The facility Admission Coordinator will be responsible for the external marketing of the facility in accordance with the established and approved Marketing Action Plan. 3. Each facility Administrator, D.O.N. and Admission Coordinator shall have thorough knowledge of the local health care community, to include competition, hospitals, physicians, home health and etc. within a 25-mile radius of the facility. 4. Each facility shall host no less than two external and/or internal marketing events each quarter, targeting the health care community. 5. Each facility will have a method for documenting marketing contacts that reflect the status of relationship building with each present and new referral source. 6. Each facility will designate an employee(s) and have a system to visit any of their resident that are hospitalized no less than once a week until returning from the hospital. |
